UNCG features an ASL film called "Versa Effect." It will be shown at UNCG-School of Education Building 1300 Spring Garden Street Greensboro, NC on Saturday March 17, 2012 at 2 pm. DCC WEIT Program for Educational Interpreters

http://www.dcc.vccs.edu/Departments/a&s/Academics/weit.htm Danville Community College offers two programs for interpreters; a Career Studies Certificate and an AA & S degree with a Specialization in Educational Interpreting. Because partial funding is provided by the Department of Education (DOE), priority for admission is given to working educational interpreters. The non-traditional one credit courses are taught primarily on weekends, meeting one weekend per month. The program director is Dr. Carl Amos and the coordinator of the program is Cat Clough (CSC, CI, CT, Ed: K-12, ASLTA - Professional); the other instructors are qualified deaf and hearing interpreter educators:
