Different ways you can think about the decision making process...

Use these steps to truly understand the decision making process that you use as you practice with different scenarios that relate to the NIC. Remember to videotape yourself and really THINK about the choices you made. Take apart the layers and then try to understand the framework and background that you bring to the scenario that led you to make the decision that you made. Thinking about thinking...Decision Making Process.

How many of us make decisions on a daily basis like what to eat, what to wear, should we choose one thing over another but we don't even think about the processes we all go through to get to our decision. Do we take in to account perspectives of others? Do we think about all possible outcomes? Do we base our decisions on just our "gut" reaction? Take some time to think about the process you take daily to make decisions. The better we get at making decisions with a mental process, the better we will become at making well thought out decisions as we go through our daily lives. The lives that include making decisions as we are interpreting. So the question to ask is what process do you use to make your decisions?
